This is an advanced class for people who have decent soldering skills. We will focus on the following skills: 1) ways to bring dimension into your work; 2) how to tube set stones, 3) ways to incorporate small amounts of 24 gauge, 22k gold bi-metal into your jewelry. Each person in class will create their own design.

Pre-requisite: Decent soldering skills and knowledge of fabrication skills.

What to bring to class:

• An apron
• Ultra-fine Sharpie
• 2 feet each of hard, medium and easy wire solder
• 22 g sheet metal
• 24 gauge 22k gold bi-metal
• Thick walled tubing in small pieces
• Gold or silver tube sets (3-5 mm)
• 3-5 mm facets stones

PLEASE WEAR CLOSE TOED SHOES TO CLASS.

Available for purchase in class:

• 3-5 mm faceted stones and tube sets
• 24 gauge 22k gold bi-metal in small amounts
• Thick walled tubing in small pieces
• Hard, medium and easy wire solder
• Copper/silver sheet metal
• Jumbo Maxi Flame Torch (great for use in the home, apartments, etc.)
• Other soldering supplies such as pickle, flux, soldering picks, etc.

Please don’t bring other tools to class. I will have everything you need.
