The image above illustrates different methods used to construct rings that you will learn in this class
taught by Pattie Phipps:

1) Learn to measure ring size for proper fit

2) Creating dome and wide band shakes

3) Carving; Setting Stones; and using Syringe and Art Clay Silver Paper Clay type as designelements

You will also learn numerous strategies for working with Art Clay Silver effectively:
-How to keep your metal clay from drying out and if it does, how you can save it.
   -How to repair cracks.
-How to sand metal safely before and after firing.
-How to utilize every ounce of metal clay.
-How to determine how much oil is enough and what is too much.
-How to patina your piece to enhance texture.

This class is open to intermediate level students. At least one basic instructional class in metal clay is
required.
