In this class you will learn how to set cabochons with prongs.
You are welcome to make earrings, a pendant, a pin or components
for a bracelet. We will not be making cuffs or rings in this
class. We will be soldering in this class, so it is a good opportunity
to develop soldering skills.
Pre-requisite: Knowledge of how to saw, file and drill sheet
metal. Basic soldering skills. |

What to bring to class:
- Cabochon(s) - the size depends on the scale of the piece you
want to design. (Available in class for sale)
- 18 gauge wire
- Note book to take notes
- Permanent ink ultra fine pen
- Copy of Seller's permit (optional)
- Sheet metal (gauge will vary depending on what you are making
(I will have some available for purchase. You might contact me
several weeks in advance to make sure we have what you want).
PLEASE WEAR CLOSE TOED SHOES TO CLASS
You will not need to bring tools to class. As a matter of
fact, I am requesting that you not bring tool cases with you
so that floor space is clear. Your work station will have all
the tools you need for this class. |
