This two day class will focus on developing a ring design that best suits your aesthetic. So, instead of learning a specific project, you will be creating your own design. The rings shown above reflect my own sense of style. I will be working with you based on your skill level too.

Here are some of the possible techniques that can be used with your ring design:

• Roller printing
• Keum Boo
• Soldering
• Wire or tube rivets
• Heat texturing
• Metal forming
• Tube setting with small stones

Note: Prong and bezel setting will not be taught in this class. You are welcome to use the technique if you already know it.

Pre-requisites: Knowledge of how to solder, saw, drill, and file.

What to bring to class:

• Sharpie/indelible pen
• Note book to take notes
• Copy of Seller's permit (optional)
• 24 k gold foil, .005 thickness (available from Art Clay) if you want to do Keum Boo
• 20 gauge sterling silver sheet metal for ring band
• 22 gauge sterling silver, copper and/or brass sheet metal in small quantity

You will not need to bring any tools to class as I will provide them for you.
