you would really enjoy. Yes, not just get through, but enjoy.

This class will cover how to use the torch safely and what
kind of set up will be both safe and comfortable for you to use
in your home. We will use an acetylene-air torch in class, but
also a smallish butane torch that can do a lot of soldering jobs
successfully.
We will focus on completing three basic solder joints that
are used in many jewelry soldering jobs. We will also cover how
to solder jump rings, earring posts. You will also have an opportunity
to make a pair of earrings using your soldering skills. Tips,
tricks and what not to do will also be presented.
What to bring to class:
- An apron
- Hard, medium and easy wire solder
- 20 gauge copper sheet metal, 1-2 pieces of 6x6 inches
- 22 gauge silver sheet metal, 3x3 inches
