| Wire Earrings With Beads - Class Description |
| |

Examples of the unique jewelry
you can make with these skills.
|
|
| |
Do you enjoy bending wire? If you do, this class will teach you a number of wire earrings – actually as many as we can squeeze into in one day. Copper wire can also be used. No tools are needed, but, if you prefer working with ergonomic pliers, please bring them. This is an enjoyable, low stress class.
Pre-requisites: Basic wire skills.
|
| |
What to bring to class:
It is difficult for me to estimate how much wire you need. It all depends on how many earrings we make. You will likely have plenty of wire left over – a better situation than not enough.
- 20g round, half hard, sterling silver wire – about 10 feet.
- 18 half hard – only bring this if you can wear 18 g wire in your ears, otherwise we will use 20 g.
- 24g round, dead soft, sterling silver wire – about 8 feet
- 22 g round, dead soft, sterling silver wire – about 4 feet
- 18g round, dead soft, sterling silver wire – about 2 feet
- Small beads that can be incorporated into your earrings.
Note: Please don’t bring a tool chest or large container to class. |
