On the wall in my studio are
five African masks that keep me company while I bend wire. The
lion, occupying center stage, provides inspiration to be bold
and courageous in my work.
Recently, an African trader told
me this mask isn't really a lion after all, but, if it makes
me happy, "Then a lion it is". |
