Silver With Copper Rivets Cuff
This cuff was made with 18 gauge sterling shiver sheet metal.
The metal was annealed, cleaned, polished, and roller printed
using an industrial type screen. The shape was sawed and filed.
Then the riveting with 12 g wire rivets began. Now, what is not
apparent about this cuff is that it started as a bangle. Once
I finished the riveting I didn’t like how the bangle turned
on my arm. So, I took a chance and cut out the back hoping my
rivets would hold the front together. Thankfully those 12 g wire
rivets are very strong and there has been no problem. |
