Arli Wolfson

In March, I had the opportunity of taking Connie's torching class, and immediately set up a torching area at home.

These bracelets are the result of my first day's efforts on my own. I find torching silver to be an exhilarating adrenalin rush.

I naturally tend to work symmetrically but fight it all the time because I love the look of asymmetric. Since the torching process takes you where it wants to go, it is easier, and very freeing to design asymmetrically with the torched pieces.

It is an amazing process to saw the silver pieces, torch them, drill them, apply gold diffusion bonding, antique them, select accompanying beads, and wire them into wonderful pieces of jewelry.

Connie, I thank you!
